• Peter A. Lankau

  CEO

  Mr. Lankau is an experienced biopharmaceutical executive with over 30 years of general management and commercial expertise. He is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc., a publicly traded specialty pharmaceutical company. Prior to Endo, Mr. Lankau was Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Alpharma, Inc. He began his pharmaceutical career with Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, Inc. (now Sanofi-Aventis Inc), ending his 24 year tenure as Vice President, Sales-US Pharmaceuticals.

• Carolyn E. Green

  President and Chief Operating Officer

  Carolyn Green is a co-founder of Logical Therapeutics. Previously, Ms. Green was the founding Director of the Office of Enterprise Development at the University of Pittsburgh. During her tenure, she was the architect behind a dozen biotechnology spin-outs stemming from the University's $650 M in annual NIH funding. Ms. Green is a Certified Licensing Professional, and has more than twenty years of management and operating experience.

• Gerhard Sperl, Ph.D

  Vice-President, Chemistry

  Trained as a medicinal chemist, Dr. Sperl has more than 14 years of experience, working in the biotechnology industry. Prior to joining Logical Therapeutics, Inc., Dr. Sperl was most recently the Vice-President for Medicinal Chemistry at Cetek Corporation (recently acquired by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals). Dr. Sperl is an inventor on 24 issued and 6 pending patents.

• K. Lea Sewell, MD

  Vice-President, Clinical Development

  A board-certified rheumatologist, Dr. Sewell has more than 7 years of experience, working in the biotechnology industry. Prior to joining Logical Therapeutics, Dr. Sewell managed clinical development programs at Isis Pharmaceuticals, Genentech, and Fibrogen and was a clinical investigator at Harvard Medical School.

• David Schubert

  Vice-President, Regulatory Affairs

  Prior to joining Logical Therapeutics, Mr. Schubert's most recent position was Vice-President, Regulatory Affairs and Worldwide Quality Assurance for Coley Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Schubert has more than 18 years of experience, working in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
